Cerbaco proudly presents the Culinary Cocktail Fusion Competition by Massenez, exclusively for NSW & ACT bartenders. This exciting competition lets you showcase your bartending brilliance by crafting an extraordinary cocktail inspired by your favourite dish.
Starting with an Instagram competition, 6 finalists from NSW & ACT will be selected to compete in our final in Sydney at Burrow Bar. A tantalising culinary experience awaits these six finalists, with the ultimate winner claiming a cash prize of $1,000 and an exciting trip to explore our esteemed partner, Prohibition Distillery! 2023 Massenez Cocktail Competition
Concept
Unleash your creativity and let your taste buds lead the way in concocting the perfect fusion of flavours. Give us a sense of "déjà vu" as we savour your drink!
Select any preferred dish, snack, dessert, or appetiser - whatever satisfies your cravings!
Craft a unique cocktail recipe inspired by those flavours using our Massenez Liqueurs or Eaux-de-vie.
How To Enter
STEP 1: SOCIAL MEDIA COMPETITION
Post on Instagram a photo or video of your Cocktail. Add the hashtags #MassenezCocktailComp, #Massenez150 & #Cerbaco
REQUIREMENTS
– Follow and tag @massenez_au & @cerbaco
– 10ml minimum of Massenez Spirits or Liqueur
– 8 ingredients maximum (garnish not included)
– Include all measurements (ml's) of your cocktail recipe
– Describe or include a picture of what dish your cocktail recipe is inspired by
– Bonus points if you use a second Cerbaco spirit in your cocktail

STEP 2: COCKTAIL COMPETITION
Showcase your unique creation and talent during the Finale at Burrow Bar in Sydney on Monday the 4th of March 2024.
Round 1: Your challenge is to craft 4 servings of your cocktail within a 5-minute time frame.
Round 2: The top 2 finalists will battle head-to-head in the ultimate challenge – The Massenez & Prohibition Distillery Mystery Box. Armed with surprise ingredients from both distilleries, you’ll be tasked with creating a new cocktail on the spot, captivating us with your ingenuity and creativity. Brace yourself for an exhilarating finale!
The competition is open to NSW & ACT bartenders only.
The Prize
The Competition Winner will receive a cash prize of $1,000 and an all-inclusive 2-day trip to the Prohibition Distillery.
The runner-up will get a cash prize of $500.
